The Contemporary Performer's Workshop

With intimate recitals by professional string players, including members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Contemporary Performer's Workshop (CPW) explores and promotes new (contemporary) music in beginning string curriculum. Local students and their families are invited to four annual recitals held in the always colorful space of the Weston Art Gallery with featured music by Isaac Watras, CPW students, and living composers in Cincinnati and beyond. These child-friendly concert experiences last less than an hour.
